If you’re pining after an entry-level luxury SUV that can pamper and impress, without completely breaking the bank, then the Lexus UX has always been a solid option. It stands as the smallest and most budget friendly ride in the expansive Lexus line-up. Sharing plenty of inspiration from the much larger and wildly popular Lexus RX. The 2025 Lexus UX 300h replaces the old 250h with a snazzy new powertrain. Delivering more power without sacrificing fuel economy. This is a welcome development, as the previous UX left a lot to be desired in the fun and fast department. The 2025 upgrade brings us up to 196 hp, from 181. A sizable jump. It’s paired with a smoother transmission as well. The combination should shave a couple seconds off the 0-60 time. Extra performance while still boasting 42 mpg combined with the AWD model are some pretty impressive figures for a luxury SUV.
Updated driver-assist features help to give it a slight edge over the competition as well. The big 12.3 – inch instrument panel is now standard in F Sport and Premium models. Other features specific to the F Sport package are NuLuxe-trimmed F Sport seats, leather trimmed heated steering wheel and aluminum scuff plate. There’s adaptive variable suspension to tighten up the ride and improve handling. Stunning 18” F Sport Alloy wheels come in a dark finish. The list goes on, but as we’ve come to expect, the F Sport trim adds extra edge and flair to an already very good looking SUV.
The compact size of the UX makes it ideal for driving around town. Expected sacrifices exist though in trade-off and include a tight back seat and small cargo area with a high floor. Still, welcome changes abound for 2025, making the Lexus UX 300h more appealing than ever.
